A general assembly of Himpunan Alumni Kyoto University (HAKU) was held at Bogor Agricultural University, Indonesia. HAKU was established in July 2007, with Supiandi Sabiham, Professor of Bogor Agricultural University, as its first president. At the general assembly, a lively discussion was held on the promotion of further efforts to make HAKU more active, with cooperation from Kyoto University alumni currently working for private companies. The assembly was held along with the 4th Kyoto University Southeast Asia Forum, which also drew many Kyoto University alumni.
