What is Basic Assistance in Learning and Digital Instructor?

Your role as a teaching assistant (TA) in an online or blended course will depend on a number of factors including:

course design,
course content and your familiarity with it,
course instructor requirements or preference,
number of students enrolled in the course,
student need for learning support,
number of teaching assistants and
online tools being used in the course and their complexity.
Each TA experience may be unique, however, always keep in mind that your overall role is to contribute to a positive learning experience for students.  In the following short videos, you will meet two online instructors and an online teaching assistant (referred to as a preceptor in the video) who will share their experiences in successfully delivering, developing and TAing online courses.
