The Twelfth meeting of the Arab Multistakeholder Program Advisory Committee (AMPAC) 19-20 March 2019
As part of the preparation of the ArabIGF-V, which will be held during 2019, the twelfth meeting of Arab Multistakeholder Program Advisory Committee (AMPAC) was held 19-20 March 2019, at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) in Beirut. The meeting reviewed the latest updates on the hosting of the ArabIGF-V meeting. AMPAC-12 also followed-up the preparations of the working groups that were formed in order to prepare for the main sessions, which will address the main themes of the ArabIGF-V meeting, as settled during the AMPAC-10 meeting. (1) Meaningful access for inclusion and diversity; (2) Cyber Security, Privacy, Trust and Peace; (3) Digital Transformation and Internet Economy; (4) Institutional Empowerment and Engagement in Internet Public Policy-Making - Global and Regional; (5) Social and Human Impact. In the same context, following-up the preparations of the working groups of the workshops track, fellowship program and pre-event for capacity building and updated the preparations timeline accordingly.
