The Alumni & Fans Golf Association is pleased to announce these winners of our first-ever Alumni & Fans Golf Classic qualifying event, said Jay Skolnick, president of the AFGA. We look forward to a wonderful first year of exciting tournament play, leading to the national championship in November.
 
The Orlando, Fla.-based AFGA will host The Alumni & Fans Golf Classic annually, a nationwide amateur event in which AFGA members compete in qualifying events around the U.S. in both gross (best ball) and net (scramble) divisions. Golfers name the college or university of their choice and play in two-person teams for their schools, competing for the chance to play in the national championship in Orlando, Fla., and for the chance to provide scholarship funds in their names to their chosen schools.
