What is African American Ministry Empowerment Network?

The African-American Empowerment Network works together with residents and leaders to transform distressed neighborhoods and improve the economic condition and quality of life of African Americans and citizens of Greater Omaha. Their goal is to close long-standing gaps in employment, entrepreneurship, education, housing, and other factors to transform Omaha into a thriving & prosperous city, across every one of its zip codes and neighborhoods.

The Pan African Women’s Ecumenical Empowerment Network gathers the stories of Pan African women, too often neglected in ecumenical and church history, and uses them for leadership capacity development and theological education. Building on these women’s experiences, we can find new models of Christian leadership and discipleship for the changing landscape of Christianity.
